Arizona is experiencing a school closure epidemic, which is negatively impacting student outcomes. Since 1998, charter school closures in Arizona have displaced more than 80,000 students (Network for Public Education 2024).
With the expansion of Arizona’s voucher programs, even more public schools are closing. Our communities deserve stable schools that are transparently operated and community-driven.
