BASIS Tucson North
In 2025, staff at BASIS Tucson North (BTN) ratified their first collective bargaining agreement and officially formed AZ-ACTS, AFT Local 6627. BTN is the inaugural chapter of AZ-ACTS.
The staff of BTN unionized to uphold the dignity of teachers and staff, fight corporate profiteering, defend our rights as workers, end unjust labor practices, and advocate for our students’ needs.
